Max 3 Modem Module Provides Remote Managed Access Using Standard Phone Lines IEI’s popular Max 3 system now has capability for remote managed access using a standard telephone line. This latest release adds another level of system flexibility with an un-matched offering of communication options. Communication options include use of an IP network, dedicated RS485, IEI’s wireless IR communication, and now through phone lines using the Max 3 Modem (part # M3M), the latest addition to the Max 3 access line of systems accessories. While remotely managed access via dial up is an old technology, there are still many applications best served by this solution from a cost and complexity standpoint. All of IEI's access systems are compatible with the new 2007 daylight savings time format. Older systems may require some action to ensure they are compliant.
