Aigis Mechtronics, Inc. is located in Winston-Salem, NC, and manufactures and sells a variety of video and access control equipment into the closed-circuit television portion of the global security market. On July 23, 2007 Aigis Mechtronics was acquired by Linear LLC and is now part of the Linear Home Technology Group.

The Linear Home Technology Group currently includes some two-dozen companies producing nationally recognized brands in such categories as stereo and home theater speakers and controls, distributed audio & video, lighting controls, personal emergency reporting systems, wireless security, structured wiring, automatic garage door openers, and internet connected media products.
